October or November is best. We book up early in the season, and our scheduling flexibility gets tighter as the holidays get closer. Reach out early and we will do everything possible to accommodate your preferred installation date.
The lights can usually be installed according to your preference, but many customers like to be lit by late November. We highly recommend scheduling early so you have the best choice of dates.
Most jobs are completed in one day. Very large homes, estates, commercial properties, or complex displays may take two days.
Not for exterior installations. Our trained crews can complete the installation whether you are home or not, as long as we have the access and electrical information we need.
No. The Light Guys lease all decorations, lights, extension cords and materials needed. This keeps everything in top condition, approved for outdoor use, and prepared properly for the season. You can read more on the What we do page.
Yes. Our decor is commercial grade and selected for longer life, outdoor use, fuller greenery, property-friendly installation accessories, and a cleaner professional finish than typical retail products.
Warm white, multicolor, classic roofline bulbs, wrapped trees, wreaths, garland, lawn figures, pathway lighting, commercial displays, and more. We design the look around your home or business.
Pricing depends on the size and difficulty of the property, the number of lights used, and the decor selected. Quotes include the products, installation, removal, and normal seasonal service. We do all kinds of jobs, from small to large.
Sometimes. The most common reason is a GFCI outlet shutting off as a safety feature. Once cords and lighting are dry, reset the outlet by pushing the reset button. If it will not reset, the outlet may still be sensing moisture.
Our installers take steps to prevent problems, but if something happens during the season, contact us. We have service technicians who can correct issues as soon as possible.
Because the lights are leased and maintained by us, repairs and replacements during the season are part of the service. Let us know and we will make it right.
Starting January 2nd, our office contacts customers to arrange a removal day and time. Most removals happen within the first two weeks of January. If you want the lights off earlier, unplug the photocell timers or call us and we can help.
Absolutely. Removal is included in the price. We handle the shopping, materials, installation, service, removal, and storage so you do not have to climb a ladder or pack boxes of lights.
No. We store the leased lights and decorations in the off-season, then bring everything back fresh for the next season.
